In-N-Out Burger Menu Hacks That’ll Save You Money
In-N-Out Burger is by far my favorite fast food joint, especially when you can get creative and order something delicious from their famous secret menu. But the super cool thing about In N Out is that their prices are usually lower than other fast food joints, and you get higher quality food for your money. With that said, there are still ways to hack their menu to save even more. Here are 5 of my favorites…
Don’t Be Afraid to Order “A La Carte”
It usually costs significantly more at fast food restaurants to order items individually rather than ordering a combo meal.
But that’s not the case with the In-N-Out menu.
So if you only want a burger and a drink than that’s what you should order.
Not only will it save you money, but you won’t be stuck with fries you’ll end up eating even though you really never wanted them.
Split a Large Milkshake and Save
The milkshakes at In-N-Out are pretty darn good as they’re made with hand-scooped ice cream.
But a “large” shake is pretty darn HUGE and enough dairy to feed an entire family.
So if you only want 2 small shakes for your kids, consider ordering a large and ask them to split it for you.
You’ll save a bunch of money and pretty much end up with the same amount of milkshake.
Ask Them To Cut a Burger In Half
There is NO kids menu at In-N-Out.
So when ordering for young children who can’t finish their own burger, consider ordering ONE burger and having them cut it in half for you.
Not only will you have less waste but you’ll save money too.
Skip the Bun and Save
Did you know that they offer a protein burger? Essentially it’s a burger with lettuce leaves instead of the bun.
I order it all the time when I take my kids as the meat has a ton of flavor and the veggies are always crisp and fresh.
Also, it’s by far the healthiest thing on the In N Out menu and the $2.70 price tag for the “protein wrap cheeseburger” is VERY easy on the wallet.
It comes in at a mere 240 calories when ordered without cheese or special sauce.

Order a 3×3 and Dissect It
Here’s a clever way to get 2 burgers for the price of one.
Simply order a “3×3 burger with extra lettuce”.
You’ll get a burger with 3 patties, 3 slices of cheese, and several leaves of lettuce.
Then dissect it and take out some of the lettuce and 1 patty with cheese on it.
The result is a protein wrap and a double-double cheeseburger.
I did this last week and gave my son the double-double and I was perfectly happy with the protein wrap as it saved me BOTH money and calories.
