Costco is known for offering major savings on all its products. Whether you are looking to stock up on your favorite cereal or save big on electronics, Costco has it all, including a great food court. Costco’s Food Court offers customers the opportunity to CHEAPLY satisfy their hunger before or after their shopping. Plus, even non-Costco members can typically enjoy food court items. From ordering a slice of pizza to a hot dog, smoothies, and more, there are a variety of cheap items you can order. Here’s exactly how the Costco Food Court menu breaks down, including current prices, selection, and even the food items that have gone off the menu in recent years.

Costco Food Court Menu: Prices, Selection, and More Fun Tidbits

What Are the Items on the Costco Food Court Menu and Prices?

Food court line

The Costco food court menu consists of a variety of delicious items but unfortunately prices are rising just like everything else at the grocery store.

Below are all the items currently on the Costco Food Court menu, and their corresponding prices:

– All Beef Hot Dog or Polish Dog w/ 20 oz drink: $1.50

– Chicken Bake: $3.99 (price went up during the Summer of 2022 from $2.99)

– Pizza: Slice- $1.99, Whole- $9.95 (Cheese and Pepperoni ONLY)

– 20 oz Soda w/ Refill: $0.69 (price went up during the Summer of 2022 from $0.59)

– Fruit Smoothie: $2.99

– Cold Brew Mocha Freeze: $2.99

– Very Berry Sundae: $2.49

– Twisted Churro: $1.49

– Ice Cream Sundae: $2.49

– Ice Cream Cup: $1.99

– Roast Beef Sandwich: $9.99 – New in 2023 at a few test Costco locations. This sandwich comes with sliced roast beef, onion relish, mayo/mustard blend, lettuce, roasted cherry tomatoes, red onions, all on an Artisan roll. (790 calories)

Keep in mind, prices may vary depending on the Costco Food Court you go to.–

But, by and large, expect significant savings compared to other fast food restaurants and pizza joints.

What Toppings Can I Get on My Pizza?

Only TWO.

The combination pizza in the Costco Food Court was a pandemic casualty and went away in 2020.

You can now only get a cheese or pepperoni pizza at the food court (by the slice or a whole pie).

Fun fact alert: Costco tosses so many pizzas nationwide that they’re actually considered the 15th biggest seller in terms of locations.

They beat out the likes of California Pizza Kitchen and Jet’s Pizza.

Personally, I’m a huge fan of their take n’ bake meat lovers pizza.

Probably 500 calories per slice, but oh so delicious, and cheap at only $9.99.

Plus, the thing is as big as a man hole cover.

What Food Court Items Went Away in Recent Years?

All good things must come to end, and this definitely is the case with the Costco Food Court.

Whether it be the pandemic, or a lack of demand, the following items no longer exist:

– BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich

– Carne Asada Bake

– Chicken Caesar Salad

– Combination Pizza

– Nonfat Yogurt Cup

– Hot Turkey and Provolone Sandwich

– Turkey and Cheese Wrap

– Hand Dipped Ice Cream Bar

Can Non-Costco Members Use the Food Court?

No.

It used to be that if you lived near a Costco that had a Food Court with an outside ordering window, anyone could order from it (there are 18 of these in the U.S.)

Awhile back I was at a Costco in Phoenix, AZ that had this exact setup. The food court window was in a foyer before you walked into the actual Costco, and anyone could order chow from it.

But as of April 2024, ALL Costco food courts now require membership.

Most food courts now have ordering kiosks which require you to swipe your membership card, and because of this, they also no longer take cash.

Do Food Court Items Differ By Country?

Yes.

Depending on the country you’re in will influence the items offered at the Costco food court.

For instance, the Costco locations in France serve a ham and cheese croissant on their menu while Costco food courts in South Korea serve chicken teriyaki on their menu.

Here are some other interesting Food Court variations by country:

Canada: You’ll find something called poutine. Poutine originated in the province of Quebec, and is made with french fries and cheese curds topped with a light brown gravy. Dang, anything with gravy on top has to be pretty darn good.

Japan: Look for bulgogi bake. It’s a calzone shaped thing stuffed with beef and other goodies.

Australia: Give the meat pie a taste.

United Kingdon: Ask for the jacket potatoes and cottage pie. Jacket potatoes are kinda like a double stuffed potato with crispy skin and cottage pie is like shepherd’s pie topped with baked mashed potatoes.

Hawaii: Give the Saimin a try. Apparently Saimin is a local favorite similar to noodle soup. Or exactly like noodle soup.

Note: I’m starting to get really hungry as I write this article

Are Some Food Court Items Available in the Warehouse?

Kirkland Chicken Bake in the Warehouse

Yes.

Costco brand “take & bake” pizzas, hotdogs, buns, and more all offer great alternatives if you don’t want to wait in the Food Court line.

Notably, the frozen Kirkland Chicken Bakes are the exact same ones that you’ll find in the Food Court.

You can get a package of 6 for $14.99, making them cheaper than if you stood in line for one.

Also, while the name “Chicken Bake” sounds pretty darn healthy it turns out to be quite the opposite.

With a whooping 840 calories and 25 grams of fat, it’s delicious because it will probably shorten your life by several months.

In case you’re not familiar, the Chicken Bake is a hot chicken pastry stuffed with chicken, green onion, and a blend of mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan cheese.

Does Costco Lose Money on the “Hot Dog Meal Deal”?

Probably.

According to Business Insider, “Costco dishes out more than 100 million hot dogs at its food courts, which is more than four times what Major League Baseball sold at its ballparks in 2011.”

Dang, that’s a lot of tube steaks.

It’s no wonder when you consider the cheap price tag of $1.50 for a big ol’ hot dog and 20 oz. soda, with free refill.

The good news for shoppers is that Costco is adamant that they’ll NOT be raising that $1.50 price, which started way back in 1985.

While the hot dog meal deal may very well be a loss leader, Costco keeps their costs as low as possible by producing the dogs themselves at a central California facility.

Is Food Court Delivery Available?

Unfortunately, No.

Costco’s food court menu items cannot be delivered to your home.

While Costco does offer grocery delivery services, this excludes all food court menu items.

Can I Call In My Order Ahead of Time?

Unfortunately, No.

As of 2020, you can NO LONGER skip the food court line at Costco by calling ahead and placing an order, even if it’s a large order like 5 or more pizzas.

Therefore, if you need a large order for a special event, be sure to save enough time to potentially wait in line and order your food.

This was such a bummer when that ability to call in orders went away, it was SO convenient to call in a large pizza order for birthday and school parties.

What are Costco’s Food Court Hours?

While specific store hours may vary by location and store, here are the general Costco food courts hours you can expect:

– Monday- Friday: 10 A.M. – 8:30 A.M.

–  Saturday: 9:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.

– Sunday: 10:00 A.M. –  6:00 P.M.

Abercrombie Return Policy: Here’s Exactly How the A&F Policy Works

Updated October 3, 2024 by Kyle James

The Abercrombie & Fitch return policy is getting worse, there I said it. Whether you’re buying an item online or gifting A&F clothing this season, there’s always the potential you may need to make a return. It’s important to fully understand their return policy, especially as it relates to the fees they charge for returns via the mail. Read on to learn the exact things to keep in mind, many of which are not mentioned anywhere on their website.

Abercrombie Return Policy: Here's Exactly How the A&F Policy Works

How Many Return Days Does Abercrombie Allow?

30 days.

You have 30 days after purchase to return your Abercrombie item(s) to receive a full refund.

Don’t forget to bring your original sales receipt when making the return.

Do I Need My Receipt?

Yes.

If you want money returned to your original form of payment, YOU NEED your original A&F sales receipt.

As of September 2024, Abercrombie will NO LONGER take back or exchange your order without a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.

Previously, if you DIDN’T have your receipt, your return will be considered an “after 30 days” return and you’d get store credit in the form of an Abercrombie e-gift card. No more.

PRO TIP: “AFTER 30 DAYS” POLICY HAS CHANGED

Abercrombie now requires you to be a member of their myA&F VIP rewards program to have any “return recourse” after 30 days. Specifically, you’ll be able to return items for store merchandise ONLY for up to 60 days after purchase. On day 61 you’re stuck with it, even as a VIP member. Terrible policy.

Can Items Be Worn or Laundered?

No.

You technically cannot return items that have been worn or laundered as this will impact the original condition of the item.

That being said, if you wore the item, but still have the original tags on it, you can potentially return the item as long as it maintained its original condition.

What Happens if I Lost My Receipt?

Unfortunately, you cannot return your purchase without your original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.

Luckily, if you made an online purchase that you’d like to return, you can easily locate your receipt/ order confirmation that was sent to your email.

PRO TIP: RETURN ITEMS FROM MULITPLE ORDERS TOGETHER

If you have more than 1 item to return, and they came from different orders, Abercrombie will let you return them together in the same box. This is a great way to make sure you only get hit by the $7 fee once. To make it happen, be sure to include the invoice for each order but only create a digital return for ONE of the orders. Otherwise Abercrombie is going to think your returning the items separately.

Does Abercrombie Offer an Extended Holiday Return Period?

Yes.

Abercrombie does have an extended holiday return policy.

If you made a purchase anytime between November 1 – December 21, you can make a return and still receive a full refund anytime up until January 31 of the new year.

Are Any Products Not Returnable?

Yes.

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange at Abercrombie:

– Face Masks

– Personalized Items

– Final Sale Items

– Custom Products

For some other questionable items like women’s swim bottoms, intimates, and more, as long as the product has its hygiene liner still attached to the product, and the original tags are on the item, you can return them.

The key is to have the A&F product in the same condition as when you originally bought it.

PRO TIP: 14-DAY PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

If you notice that Abercrombie lowered the price on something you bought, you don’t need to return and rebuy at the lower price because they offer a 14-day price adjustment. It’s also worth mentioning that if you start a live chat, and you’re way beyond the 14 days, you stand a GREAT chance of them doing a 1-time courtesy price adjustment. From the Reddit thread linked above, it helped that the item was still in stock. Just hit them up via Live Chat and you stand a great chance of getting some money back.

Do Online Orders Have the Same Policy?

Yes.

Online orders at Abercrombie follow a similar return policy in that you have up to 30 days from the Estimated Delivery Date -OR- Actual Delivery Date, whichever date is later.

As noted above, only VIP Members get the extra 30 days to make a return. BUT…from day 31 to day 60 you’ll be stuck with store credit.

The credit will be sent as an e-gift card sent to the email address that you used to make the order.

PRO TIP: TRY RETURNING FINAL SALE ITEMS IN-STORE

I have a friend who’s a HUGE Abercrombie fan and gave me this cool tip. He recently bought a couple Final Sale items online and unfortunately they didn’t fit. So on a whim, he tried to return them in-store with his shipping label and the employee gave him a full refund back to his credit card, no questions asked.

Can I Do an Exchange on an Online Return?

Yes.

To make it happen you NEED to include the following with your online return:

  1. Full Item Name.
  2. Size requirement.
  3. Color requirement.

Make sure you’re explicit about what you’re exchanging, especially if requesting a size and color different than the original A&F item purchased.

Who Pays Return Shipping Costs?

This is where their policy is not the best as YOU are responsible for return shipping costs.

$7 will be taken off your original refund amount to pay for the return shipping label costs.

Keep this in mind if you are deciding to make your return in-store vs. online.

Always opt for an in-store return if you live near an Abercrombie store.

Don’t Pay the $7 Return Shipping Fee

If your online order arrives, and the quality of the item is not what you thought it would be, DO NOT pay the $7 to return it.

Instead call them a 1-866-681-3115 and inform them of the issue and tell them they need to pay the return shipping charges and they should oblige.

The same goes for items with sizing and fit issues that are out of your control.

They should be on the hook for return shipping costs if the issue is on their side.

Don’t be afraid to call them and voice your concern.

How Do I Make an Online Order Return?

If you have no choice but to return online, you’ll need to follow the below steps.

1. Start your online return process by clicking HERE.

2. If you wish to track your return, consider using the return service. As mentioned earlier, the fee to use this service is $7 and will be deducted from your total refund amount.

3. Once you’ve securely attached your shipping label to your box with your return items inside, ship your order.

Keep in mind, it may take up to three weeks since you shipped your return before you receive your refund.

Does Amazon Take EBT? Yes, But Read This FIRST As It’s a Bit Messy

Amazon provides EBT (Electronics Benefits Transfer) recipients the opportunity to buy eligible items on their platform. However, with the nearly endless products sold on Amazon, it can be difficult to know which items are EBT eligible, and which are not. Not to mention an Amazon Prime membership, and other additional services, it can be tricky to know if and when you can use EBT towards those purchases. Below you’ll learn exactly what products are EBT eligible on Amazon’s platform and how to add your EBT card to Amazon to start using your benefits.

Does Amazon Take EBT? Yes, But Read This FIRST As It's a Bit Messy

So…Does Amazon Take EBT?

Yes.

Amazon has accepted EBT for many years now, but since they’ve traditionally been online only, and now have some brick & mortar and other services, it gets a little more tricky.

How Does Amazon EBT Work?

Amazon Snap and EBT
To use your SNAP EBT card on Amazon, follow these three simple steps:

1. Add/register your SNAP EBT card number on Amazon’s website here.

2. Shop for your groceries.

3. Once done shopping, enter your EBT PIN to pay for all eligible grocery items selected on Amazon.

You can still buy non-eligible EBT items, you just have to use a separate form of payment.

How Do I Add My EBT Card To My Account?

Before you can start using your SNAP EBT benefits on Amazon, inevitably you must enter your EBT card’s unique number.

To add your SNAP EBT card, register your EBT card number here on Amazon’s website.

Can I Use My Cash EBT Card on Amazon?

No.

Unfortunately, Amazon will only take your regular EBT card and will not accept your Cash EBT card at this time.

The main difference between the 2 cards is that your Cash EBT card can be used to withdraw cash from an ATM machine.

I also received a comment on this article stating that an EBT card can ONLY be used on food items while a Cash EBT card can be used on other stuff like toilet paper and feminine hygiene products.

I cannot find any evidence that this is actually true. From my research, both cards can be used to buy all EBT eligible items.

What Are the Product Exclusions?

The food that is currently eligible for SNAP EBT on Amazon includes:

  • Fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, and dairy products.
  • Bread, cereals, canned vegetables, and pantry items.
  • Snacks, seeds, and non-alcoholic beverages.

When in doubt, be on the lookout for Amazon grocery items labeled with “SNAP EBT eligible”.

SNAP EBT Eligible items

Otherwise, if products aren’t listed above, or at the very least, have a “SNAP EBT eligible” label, the product is ineligible and excluded from EBT.

Some notable ineligible product exclusions that you can’t buy with EBT on Amazon include:

  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco products
  • Medicine
  • Dietary Supplements
  • Live animals
  • Cleaning supplies, beauty products, and pet food.

Amazon doesn’t actually sell alcohol or tobacco products, but I’ll include them in my list for the sake of clarity.

Also, it’s worth noting that you cannot use Amazon Layaway in conjunction with EBT eligible items.

Does Amazon EBT Work In All 50 States?

Almost.

Amazon EBT works in all states except Alaska.

You can also use EBT in Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia.

Do I Have To Be An Amazon Prime Member to Use EBT?

No.

You don’t need an Amazon Prime membership in order to use EBT benefits for Amazon items.

This means you also have access to Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market without being a Prime member.

Likewise, on SNAP EBT-eligible orders, you can get free delivery without needing a Prime membership.

How Does Amazon Verify My EBT Status?

Amazon verifies your EBT status by requiring you to enter your EBT number.

You must qualify again each year to ensure your EBT status has not changed.

With regards to verifying EBT status to get a 50% discount off an Amazon Prime membership for EBT recipients, you must do the following:

1. Enter your EBT number.

2. Upload an image of your EBT card.

Can Items Be Sold by a 3rd Party Seller?

No.

For items to EBT eligible, they MUST be shipped by Amazon and sold by Amazon.

Items sold by 3rd party sellers are not eligible.

Can I Buy Amazon Gift Cards With EBT?

No.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy Amazon gift cards with EBT.

Can I Buy My Annual Amazon Prime Membership with EBT?

No.

You can’t buy your annual Amazon Prime membership with EBT.

However, you can receive a 50% discount from Amazon Prime with proof of being an EBT recipient.

To verify you are a valid EBT recipient to receive this Prime discount, you must 1) enter your EBT number here and 2) upload an image of your EBT card.

Is the Return Policy The Same When Using EBT?

Yes.

If you aren’t satisfied with your Amazon Fresh store item or Amazon Go item, you can return it to receive a refund if you paid using EBT.

To return your Amazon Fresh or Amazon Go item for a refund you paid with EBT:

1. Visit “Your Orders” (on your Amazon account).

2. Navigate to the item you wish to return (that was bought using EBT)

3. Select “Request Item Refund”.

4. Follow the additional directions provided.

It’s important to note it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to be issued back onto your EBT card once the refund has been processed.

Ask the Reader: Do you regularly use your EBT benefits on Amazon? If so, am I missing any tidbits of information that others might find helpful?
